VINELAND HOSTS
CITIZENSHIP CEREMONY
On Friday January 27th, Vineland Public School was honoured with the opportunity to host a
Citizenship Ceremony for 30 new Canadians. It was a wonderful opportunity for all present to reflect on what it means to be a Canadian and what we stand for as citizens. Bringing the ceremony to Vineland also allowed students to reaffirm their citizenship in the presence of a judge and provided a backdrop to showcase student work and talk about service within the community. A special thanks to all who participated to help make this a memorable occasion.
This year, all of our efforts will be concentrated on BUILDing on top of the strong foundation we have here at Vineland. B.U.I.L.D. = Boosting Understanding, Instructional strategies, and Learning Daily. Come back here
often as we share our progress and plans to keep our B.U.I.L.D. going strong!

My Principal's commitment to our community - is to BUILD more communication links with staff, students, parents, and the community at large. This website will be the collection point for all of that. Previously we have published paper wall calendars and focused on paper communication. This year, as we BUILD, we will renew our commitment to "Go Green" and send as much news and information home through email and on this website as possible. The most important facet of this is our ONLINE CALENDAR. As soon as the calendar is updated online, that information will be "live" in the calendar too.
